[2] Your tour guide will not escort you to the prison, as the tour will be conducted by an ex-prisoner at the museum. You will join the line to board the ferry, kindly remember to bring a copy of your passport, ID or drivers license. the entire experience will last up to 4 hours maximum this including the ferry transport return and the tour itself. You will visit Nelson Mandela cell, the lime quarry and you will be transported around the museum on a bus with live commentary. There is no restaurant on the island but you can buy refreshments at the kiosk. Please keep your ticket safe as it will be required for your return trip. Take a snapshot of your ticket on your cellphone focusing on the barcode as this can be used for verification.
